About the Project
After we have finished the Titan Fittings project our client was pleased with the results and entrusted to us one more interesting project.
The Stainless Steel Fittings website offers its customers the finest OEM-grade hydraulic hoses and fittings at manufacturer-direct prices, ensuring quality and affordability.
This e-commerce store serves industrial clients directly, eliminating multiple distribution layers between the products and customers. They procure components from the finest vendors and monitor their performance during customer application.
The Stainless Steel Fittings store includes:
2,000 categories;
over 20,000 products.
The main problems of the project were:
Too slow search and filter functions on the storefront;
Significant issues with Volusion customization to meet business needs;
Outdated website design;
Website instability during import and export.

We created a modular e-commerce system that integrates with the following services:
ShipStation: a shipping solution that optimizes the order fulfilment process, bringing together orders from more than 70 e-commerce channels.
MeiliSearch: an open-source, exceptionally fast, and highly accurate search engine that elevates the search functionality.

Volusion CMS doesn't offer the level of customization that our client needs. In contrast, the CS-Cart solution provides a highly adaptable platform with numerous ready-to-use add-ons, making it easy for any developer to customize. Additionally, CS-Cart is perfectly suited for e-commerce needs.
The client currently operates four e-commerce websites, retailing stainless steel fittings and hydraulic hoses both offline and online. Each website has its own separate admin panel, resulting in management complexity.
CS-Cart CMS stands out with its capability to manage multiple storefronts from a single admin panel. Recognizing this advantage, the client decided to apply CS-Cart for all his future projects.
The client faced significant issues with slow-loading website pages on mobile devices, which is a crucial concern for their business. We've introduced our latest solution, Lightning Commerce, to address this challenge. Lightning Commerce boasts remarkable performance enhancements, ensuring the website remains stable during peak sale periods.
At the forefront of the client's objectives was the creation of a modern and visually appealing online store equipped with essential features for contemporary e-commerce. This included a user-friendly interface, responsive web design for various devices, integration with the client's preferred payment gateways, and connections to delivery services.
The dream of every website owner is to make their website extremely popular and get benefits from it: more orders, more clients. The client expected an increase in website traffic after migrating from Volusion CMS to CS-Cart + Lightning Commerce.

The client independently transferred products and product categories using the CS-Cart import/export function.
This website boasts an instant search feature with response time under 3 milliseconds.
Search functionality is often a weak point of many online stores. Too slow search, sorting and filtering of products typically lead to loss of customers.
To enhance search speed, we integrated the Meilisearch service. Additionally, our Lightning Commerce solution optimizes product sorting and filtering functions, ensuring a seamless and efficient shopping experience.
The client purchased a third-party add-on for the CS-Cart system from the marketplace, which didn't fully meet their needs. That’s why we rewrote the add-on's code to ensure full compatibility with CS-Cart.
Upon request of the client we set up 301 redirects, because it was decided to create a new structure for categories and all URLs.
A significant number of redirects were configured on the Vercel server, and some 301 redirects were set up using the default CS-Cart function in the admin panel.
